Why did I cry in Universal Studios?

Updated: Jan 29, 2022

animatronics T-70 ready to shoot

I feel myself really blessed that I visited first Disneyland Paris in 2000, Walt Disney World, Epcot, Downtown Disney District, Seaworld Orlando, and Universal Studios in 2001.

Incredible experience, big entertainment.

In Universal Studios, there theatre-based shows. I chose Terminator 2 3D Battle Cross Time since I love science-fiction.

I entered to the saloon, seems like I will watch a 3D movie, my glasses ready in hand. Disney really knows how to entertain you and build a deceptive universe around you to make you believe. It plays with your senses.

Soon the show begins, scenes from the actual movie; Terminator, John Connor, Sarah Connor stunts perform the most attractive chasing, of course the motorcycle is there.

All of a sudden, I heard a robotic sound coming from left and right walls.

Terminator is coming from hell

Something was moving, actually walking!

Silence. Silence. Silence.

Even the audiences, including me were petrified.

A click.

Then red laser sights pointing at me, scanning the audiences.

Screams!

I saw six animatronics T-70 6 meters tall, three at each side standing with firearms.

Now all I hear was the beautiful beats of Terminator 2: Judgement Day Theme Song by Brad Fiedel. ℗ Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Music Inc

This is crying with joy!

Thank you, Universal Studios.

I have to confess

I’m deeply sorry that I visited and contributed to animals kept in aquariums called water tanks, and cages which are against animal rights!

Lack of self-awareness, shame on me.

Red flag.
